What a week, I live! I haven't died! Woohoo.
No internet for so many days....nearly died liao, so did half of Mary's I bet. Anyway...
Btw, to remind outselves, dispute reso plan due monday, politics 25% essay due monday, Open day go demo on sunday.....
Been so sick. After going out shopping with Con to get shoes, and very pretty, all silver and such, we went Karaoke where we determined I'm exactly two tones away from the actual note but I'm ACTUALLY harmonising.....so.....hm, given that I had a sorethroat, phlegm choking up my airways and a head cold, and can't hear myself, that's pretty good. Damn expensive lah ..... just to find out I can harmonise.....
On sunday....I died, and didn't make it to heaven. Sickness invaded and decided to stay so bed rest whole day. So......like that. What to do. Had to even solicitate Conz to deliver my mortal's present. Unbeknownst to me though, my lovely wonderful gorgeous Guardian Angel arranged a bouquet of deep orange roses and a lovely note outside my door. Roses! He's my new best mary's guy. And yes, I know who he is. Andy Hua out there, daisuki desu ne! He sorta revealed himself during Nautical Ball. Hehehe, so sweet.
Went make up shopping where apparently it is the norm for sale people to start slopping stuff on your face.....
TT...maji kai....yo ne....
Had disp reso team meeting late on wed, so had to rush back and start make uping and getting ready for ball. Vanessa's mother did a great job fixing the straps on the dress.
Steph was there too, or here rather, back from a department honors open day thingy. So she helped ahem...fix....make up....experience....
Hate...make up. When we were putting it on, I looked like chinese opera singer. With my complexion looking like chinese opera singer, you can bet it was rather......aiyo....
No words, no comment.
In the end it wasn't so bad. Just a tad paler than I thought it would be. Turned up abit white ish on camera. Btw photos are available on Facebook.
Nautical Ball was cool, I turn into....weird wild overly excited overly vivacious female embodiment of something in a dress. Everytime I hear music and people are on the dance floor, woohoo, let's rock it up.
Cons
- too much drunkeness, hate hate hate
- food icky, you think they could afford to feed us better, us overly thin girls
- really too much PDAs (public displays of affection) with people hooking up and making out in front of EVERYONE. C'mon, get some modesty there.
- Puke.....
- Alchohol on dresses, yes, if you're going to dance, keep the booze away
- Urine on floor, 'nuf said.
- Drunk people dancing, elbow me again and I'll carve your eyes out....
Pros
- My girls look so pretty! How beautiful, how gorgeous, how womanly they all were, thumbs up two fold.
- Friends = good time
- Dancing + good music
- Sudden rise of c'mon come 'ere attitude from moi, let's rock it up xD
- Photos, always a must and some good memories preserved.
In the end, it was rather great. Had a phenomenal time, absolutely fun, and a definite good way to spend time with friends. There were of course the usual gossips and oh my stuff and oh there's a cute guy thingy going on, normal spice.
Feet on needles, got back safe. That's cool enough.
