Some people are keeping them a big secret and some....brings me shopping.

So Nath spent ages running everywhere to get me a pink ds lite, because he knew he would borrow a black one lol. So anyone searching for ideas, feel free to get me games.

Anna got me some tea from T2, so.....atm I'm lacking tea cups, tea pot.....actually....my cabinet and fridge isn't stocked very well....

I threw blue loo into Nath's workbag thinking it was a rubbish bag.

Now I'm getting yelled at.

Murf.

Back from Thailand.
Assailed from all sides by roadside eateries.
Didn't I grow up to avoid eating by the road with my shoes in dirt and jeans scraping along water with numerous unidentifiable smells making me gag?

That sums up the spoilt little rich brat within me.

Update on the Thailand trip coming up. And I'm quite aware I haven't even blogged on the Paris trip but um....yeah, dunno, blame it on depression.

To you and your family,
Love, Health and Prosperity.

The rat year started off slow and I certainly hope it's not an indication of how the year would continue. Friends have stayed away, family have gravitated outwards, I think everyone is feeling the market crash.

Angpau stash is alright.
Derek said our shopping trip fiascos are filled with feet pain. We managed to raise his style iq to 30% when he picked up a cute looking white hoodie sweater.

I got fat =.=''

It's a funny thing about patience. Just when I thought I have been making progress, it blows up like a steam iron.

Anyone know where I can get Cirrus Vodka?

4th February marked the 23rd birthday of my best friend. In his words, it's all downhill from here...or from two years ago anyway.
We started out the day with a lovely healthy and much too filling japanese sushi lunch, accompanied by being lost as we discovered the initial plan of playing pool was stunted due to the club being closed and we had to search for a cab.
Moving over to midvalley, the birthday boy's birthday luck ran its due course. He won at foosball. He won at pool. He won at bowling.
Seriously how bad could I be??
First time bowling was fun though. Excluding the fact we had to wear other people's smelly bowling shoes. After a few gutter balls, woohoo I got a strike! And a couple of spares. Derek got several strikes and a few unfortunate miss. His third game was the best of the lot. My second was better than the first and the third was a hit and 'a give up my arm is too tired and the ball switches to the left or right even after going in a straight line right up to 5 cm before the pins' game.
Some random guy kept heckling us to buy drinks. Very random.
Photohunted, bashed on the bishibashii game thingy.
Ate sundaes. Got bloated. Squeezed into a car with four people at the back. We feel fat. Especially beside a girl who's never ever hit 40kg in her entire life.
Overall a good day.

My arms still hurt from carrying heavy bowling balls. And found out I need a skirt suit for interviews....

For all those times you stood by me
For all the truth that you made me see
For all the joy you brought to my life
For all the wrong that you made right

For all those conversations we had, the musings the questions the idiotic things we felt we could say. For the regular rants, for the admittance of our own failures, the jokes and the comfort we extend that it's not really that bad. For the company, the times we spend laughing and being bored, the little things we do for each other, staying up all night to make sure whatever project each other had was perfect. For the person who you are, and the person you will be, for all the trust and the friendship.
Happy birthday.

When one discovers that one's social skills have fallen to a whole new low, it makes for funny anecdotes.

Like grinning nervously at an aunty without realising she was expecting a courtesy response to the reason for her smile.

Or making an aunty burst into tears without a moment's notice.

Sometimes we even surprise ourselves. Social retards. Totally.
Anyhow, got Derek's his new glasses. Calvin Klein. Oh so debonair. It looks good, and hey I've got good taste.

Watched Sweeney Todd. Johnny Depp can sing! It was hilarious for a blood filled movie. Unfortunately not one of Depp's better ones. Would perhaps be better as a stage musical rather than a cinematic one.

Nath's doing a wonderful job of taking care of Sammy. Meanwhile I'm trying to figure out my birthday party, my CV, my entries for an art competition, the rest of my work....
Sigh.
