So I won (no contest!) the 9x9 blitz at the SPGO Tournament on Wednesday.
Also stood in for Johnathan and won the third game against a 1k.
Applied to three firms and have a few more to go. Going to apply for work visa.
Have to read up on the books I borrowed for the history assignment.
What is it about art thieves? What's the point of submitting art which is not yours, which you didn't draw, didn't create? Sure, you may get a few pageviews or people commenting how lovely, how great an artist you are, but YOU DID NOT DRAW THE PIECE.
Or is it some sort of stupidity connected with an immature person who desperately wants attention?
Loading official game art, manga art, art created by other artists, and then claiming them as your own? Specifying the amount of work you did (NOT) do? Right.
Sooner or later you're going to get caught. So have fun.
And while I appreciate the form of a female body, I find it hard to differentiate between art and porn in a gallery consisting of nothing of naked girls with little artistic merit.

So I finally saw Thom. After a heinous 3 hr walk in the city with Katie and sending off Dad's present, I went to college for lunch.
OMG food! Glorious food. Hallelujah type of food. I was still dying from the walk and convinced Katie is possessed. Anyway Thom cut his hair! It's normal now, as in normal guy normal, rather than his usually unique woah haircut. He's still hot, but I missed the old parisien chic hair.
Dropped off his christmas gift which he loved and I found ironic considering its a scarf in 40 degree weather.
So everyone knows that Nath got into an accident, he's fine but his car was wrecked so currently he doesn't have a car which means I don't get to see him. On Saturday my fridge decided to go on the fritz and things weren't cold, and the nectarines I was waiting to ripen got stuff growing on them, and mold on the bread and the mince meat I was keeping for spaghetti turned brown so I had to throw all my food out and when the fridge just went kaboom, I sat down and cried for an hour, feeling extremely sorry for myself.
Good news is I got my therapist back so I'm seeing him again sometime in easter break.
The weather has been confoundedly staggering lately. I think it's a sign...
At the moment I'm still stuck in the tiny little studio.

Alright, that got people's attention.
What am I going to do with myself for 1-2 months in hongkong. Shop? I barely like shopping here....
Although I did see that cute...nvm.
That is given I can secure that internship position at Freshfields HK.
I'm smart, I'm capable, no worries.
So many things to do, and I feel like going back to bed. Need to fold up laundry, scan in drawings, get ready for class, make sandwiches for beginners' night, be nice to the cat, eat, sleep, study, stuff.....
I sat up for 3 hours last night trying to draw and ultimately failed. Instead I finished the poster for SPGO's tournament. Must remember to recharge phone, get dad's presents, send dad's presents, arrange for lease transfer, move house, finish history assignment, con law assignment, politics essay.
Righto.

Long awaited? Perhaps.
Birthday celebrations actually started when I landed in Melbourne when Nath presented me with his christmas cum birthday gift; An Emily the Strange jacket because he knows what a goth girl I am, and wait for it.......

He ransacked melbourne stores trying to find a pink one, isn't that gorgeously sweet?
After the initial squeeing aside, it was nice to be back and cuddle with Nath and poke at Sammy. There's something to be said about the freedom in Melbourne (notwithstanding the starvation and the ickiness.....of...non cleanliness.....) and it feel so much better now that I'm not moping and going oh death becomes me.
Then came the bigbigbig passing into adulthood day with an actual party. Well, sorta a party. More like a picnic....

Lots of last minute pick ups, yelling into phone to direct lost people to the park and random where's the knife questions.
The day was gorgeous. After being overcast and rainy the past two days, during C&S O week nonetheless, the heavens decided to be nice and make it nice and hot and sunny. After ordering the cake and pizza and picking up chocolate party favors, we headed to the park where Matty, Katie and Louis were already waiting. Moved to a shadier spot under the trees and started delving into chips. Michelle and her bf Dalong arrived, then Von and Ant, Sui Peng finally arrived after being completely lost and then she departed after dropping off gift and wicked wings, wth right, my birthday she only gave hug and then left!
Maria came, Vanessa and Megan, Anna, Sun Tzu, Johnathan was the last.
The cake was a brunetti's frozen white chocolate cream with berries and chocolate overlay and chocolate shavings over it. The wind blew too much to actually light candles but it was fun! Ate pizza and cake and chocolates and sweets and chips with lots of drinks! Didn't get to see a coke blow up but nevermind.
Nath was being a dear and running everywhere to pick stuff up. I think he was at the picnic for bout 10% of the time ><
We finally ended at around 5. Happy and content.
I'm so glad (almost) everyone came. A few had time clashes but murf, don't forget housewarming party!
At night we went to Ito for yummy sashimi and udon. Tired~
I'm a year older now again, and last year I thought I won't see my 21st. Don't think I'm any wiser but perhaps a little calmer, and appreciative of little things in life. Still does silly things like get lost trying to find classes or rolling over and sleeping even when the alarm rang. Wish me luck, let's see 22nd =)
