Hire me for commissions?...

To those who calls for communism, to those who calls for equality, to those who stands in the middle of uni taking up space.

I've just finished reading Phantom- the latest in the series Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind.
The series started off well, but lately it has become this mass of propaganda and frankly a little stuffy and every line screams 'democracy good, communism bad'.
The problem is, the Order- representing the oppression of the masses and the slaughter of all those who opposes them, is championing a rather good cause- equality of all. The one who thinks he is above another deserve to feel he below everyone.

The fact is that a majority of the world is below poverty line. A minority - about 10 percent? controls over 60% of the world's wealth.
So consider this.....everyone in university is considered loaded. There's not much difference between someone who can afford to fly to Milan every week and someone who's on HECs and working two jobs to afford classes.
This is in the view of someone who has absolutely nothing. Consider a child in any of the African countries, probably with AIDs, probably without parents, living on less than $1 per week, no clothes, no food, no shelter, going to school with four walls and mud floors.
Who in university can claim they cannot afford 'anything'. On average, most can afford a $5 dollar lunch. That's one month's living for a majority of the world. On average, most of us can afford breakfast, lunch and dinner, and christmas presents.
That goes for the working class, the middle class and the upper class.

We, make the minority in this world.
Are you willing to claim that you're willing to give all that YOU have so this world can be equal?
Are you willing to forgo breakfast, lunch and dinner and christmas presents so that you and someone else can be equal?
Calling for equality doesn't mean that the rest of the world rises in riches. It means YOU lose everything.
It means the minority that consists of all the rich people in this world goes down to accompany the poor people of this world.
So if you want to let go of everything for equality sake, I'll applaud you.
But for now I rejoice in being able to afford internet, sushi and hot chocolate.

Just realising now that people actually read my blog is quite a drastic change. Before I could talk about the mountains and the sky and rant to my hearts content with oblivious consequences but now my rants actually -mean something-. Anything =.=.

Hm. What does this blog mean to me. Perhaps to practice my speech writing. Amid the rants you'll find gems railing out against oppression, against terrorism, against idiocy.
Yes, idiocy is a great failing of our times.
But more and more I realise I'm writing generally.......everyday life.
And more I realised my tone of voice is becoming entirely disagreeable.
Which explains the lack of posts cos I've become entirely sick of hearing myself.

The uni admin by the way has sorted out through bureaucracy and granted me approval to take an off campus supplementary exam. The very exam I'm now avoiding studying for because I'm bored.........seriously reading through the entire syllabus of torts is enough to put someone to sleep.
On a good note however, I did 'barely' 'badly' passed through my driving tests, and hence am now legally approved to drive. My license looks gorgeous.

I am 3 weeks free from warcraft. Burn that Burning Crusade baby......but I do so want a blood elf......and Burning Crusade Collector's edition, and world of warcraft artbook.....

Might as well write up my birthday list here. Birthday btw is on 1st March:-
Copic Markers: set A and B + colorless blender + copic multiner pens + copic airbrush set
Artbooks: DeathNote Noir et Blanc artbooks, World of warcraft artbook
Corel Painter
Sketchbooks: manga paper <3
Art : from the variety of beautiful deviantartists
Suede boots
Wedge shoes
Dresses
Books

I'll think of more later.

And have put up an ad offering Tutoring services in economics, english, esl, history and sociology. Need to make extra cash to support my living, so if you're in melbourne, needs a tutor, call me =)
Got a call but the person need a tutor straightaway and I'm not due back till March.

Volunteered for a human rights arts and film festival. This will be interesting.

Also of course offering art commissions. There's been several updated new art, a majority consisting of shinigami for my B/C shop Garden of Everything. They are gorgeous however and you can rest assured characters can be done in similar style.
Buying art from other artists has made me bankrupt.

Flutters away.

A new year, a new me?
I do too much ranting. Too much anger and sadness and naivety.

So, resolutions for the new year:-

1. Stop ranting so much
2. Work hard in uni
3. Be more bold and friendly and make new friends

1/3 ain't so bad now is it.

Have started a sketch book, with drawings done in Copics. Dad is so lovely. 72 beautiful colors in copic glory.

He informs me him and mom have separated but nothing will change.
Kindda predictable....expected....felt.....
It was awkward trying to eat dinner.

It feels strange knowing I'm becoming my mother's daughter. Sort of psychotic. Although.....I suppose I'm alot stronger inside. Mom tries to be blustery and talks too much.

Resolution no.4 : no emotional break downs
5. Get better at art
6. Be more involved

7. Just to please Derek: to always laugh at his lame jokes in return to getting his bed to sleep in everytime I get emo and need to avoid college.
