The education system is a joke......granted we learn some stuff, history for one thing is important...to quote 'to not learn the past is to repeat the past'........but....what else do we learn??? How is half the stuff crammed into our heads....like rock formations and pythagoras theorem and gooble la good supposed to help us with anything?
And exams..................have they never noticed that every examination only tests the ability of the individual in memorizing junk and spilling out everything? It doesn't test if the person understands, it doesn't test that the individual could think for themselves, it doesn't test any other ability that the individual has like creativity and ambition, emphathy, compassion, existential potential.........it just tests how well you can remember your one protein from another............
To some extent.....essay type subjects would be better than pure sciences, for they actually do ask for opinion and evaluation. It doesn't stop at 'what is this' and 'this is the definitive answer insert here'............it goes on to why, and what if, consideration, judgement and thinking.........................
Yet..............don't our studies already filled out all those questions so in effect we are again pouring out information. All the whys and hows, and pros and cons, situation and possibilities............drilled and redrilled through lessons and work and essays and tests........................
What a joke...............we are a slave of the system...........and all society gains is another generation of past generations.........no wonder we are in a depressive spiral of hatred and wars..............we are repeating the past.........

Taka is a young law/arts student, often bumbling through life and trying to be a person rather than being defined by social conventions.
Shy, geeky, emotional, proud, and quite bisexual, doesn't smoke, drink sometimes, passionate about most things, Taka spends time dreaming, dancing, drawing and watching movies, often anime.
Is in love with the idea of love, gives hugs at the most random times, and is constantly worrying about people eventhough it does not look like it.
Aspires to either become a beautiful hermit by the river or a world dictator.

Niflheim represents both light and darkness, of the celebration and distaste of life, of musings and incoherent thought. It is an outlet for personified angst and pessimism with chuckfuls of laughter and smiles.
It is Taka's way of drawing out all the little disturbing thoughts giving rise to nightmares, a way to self reflect, a way to seek solace.
