UCL, that is the prestigious university college london has finally deemed it right to reply to my silent plea and made an offer......*yippee*hah!*.....not such good news.
Their offer?
A......A.......A.......and a PASS in a fourth subject!!!!
The audacity of it all, to make me continue in all FOUR subjects when most people take three A levels, and yet..............
I'm miserable....and yet.....
It may work out in my advantage.............*sigh*.......the weirdness of it all........
UCL wants three As and a pass in a fourth subject which means i can just show up for one of them and I can still pass, leaving me free to concentrate on the other three, especially since the THREE HOUR long SOCIO paper is at the same time, same afternoon as the THREE HOUR long HISTORY paper, both of which are essays paper.......this year is really screwing me.........and both papers are held three days after my first Lit paper...........great, three days to study for a six hour long essay papers...........wunderbar..........not........
BUT...........if I instead concentrate on Lit and one of the exams on that ill fated day, I can maybe scrap a pass on either History or Sociology with three As to spare....................hmmm.............
That would work since Uni Melbourne, the one which Derek nichan and Rayner nichan attends and are enticing me with promises of dota and the company of their stacks of anime, wants Three As with one of them in an english based subject.......which is ridiculous because my education and all it's exams since twelve years have been conducted in english, yet they want PROOF!!!
So..............if i can get atleast three As, I get the choice of either attending world renowned UCL or Unimelb with my two beloved nichans......hmmm.........
Or I can study like crazy for socio and hist weeks before the exam, take a break four days before first lit exam and study for that, then go back to studying for hist and lit after that, and get four As...............that is if I don't fail business studies......................of which the paper layout has changed and become longer, based on a lousy case study and has one essay to write and numerous 'short' 15 mark questions to answer................
